Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a cook
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform moderate physical work including lifting up to 40 lbs frequently
- Availability to work shifts as assigned
- Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking, and boiling
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Diploma from a culinary school is an advantage
Job Duties
- Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control
- Receive and check food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms including inspecting the condition of contents and freshness of products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Chef or General Manager
- Complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Chef or General Manager
- Protect the assets of the Club
- Operate within established guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints
- Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
- Assist with other duties as needed
