Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar culinary role preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to perform physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
  • Must comply with all hygiene and safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Professionalism and positive attitude required

  • Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain

  • Good oral communication skills
  • Ability to execute recipes and service in adherence with company policy
  • Proficient knife handling skills
  • Culinary Arts degree preferred
  • Familiarity with Korean cuisine preferred
  • 2+ years of similar experience preferred
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment

Job Duties

  • Sets up all assigned stations with appropriate mise en place in advance of service
  • Attends all assigned pre-shift meetings and prepares dishes for line check according to company standards
  • Prepares menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team at the direction of the chefs
  • Follows allergy protocols and modifies dishes as directed to prevent cross contamination
  • Ensures all dishes meet quality and timing standards while restocking ingredients
  • Labels, stocks, and organizes inventory
  • Maintains neat, orderly, and safe workstations
  • Works efficiently with kitchen team while complying with food safety standards
  • Keeps utensils and equipment clean and sanitary
  • Maintains a positive and professional attitude with all coworkers and customers
  • Breaks down stations and reports waste to chefs
  • Cleans and sanitizes workstations before shift end
  • Reports to shifts on time, in uniform, and ready to work
  • Assists other stations when requested
  • Trains new employees as assigned
