Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or restaurant kitchen operations
- high school diploma or equivalent
- demonstrated knife skills
- ability to work multiple cooking stations
- familiarity with food rotation and labeling
- waste-reduction practices knowledge
- valid Food Handler's Permit or ability to obtain certification
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- ability to lift 30-50 lbs
- tolerate hot and cold environments
- stand for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen

- familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices preferred
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients according to prep lists, portion standards, and station requirements
- execute menu items accurately by following recipes, plating guidelines, and presentation standards
- coordinate timing with other cooks to ensure dishes are served together
- work across multiple stations including grill, sauté, fry, prep, and pantry
- properly store, label, and rotate ingredients using FIFO and food safety protocols
- assist with receiving deliveries, stocking inventory, and organizing storage areas
- monitor cooking and holding temperatures to ensure food safety
- conduct quality checks on ingredients to identify spoilage
- practice proper portioning to minimize waste
- follow sanitation, allergen-awareness, and cross-contamination prevention procedures
- maintain accurate prep sheets, waste logs, and temperature logs
- report equipment issues, low-stock items, or safety concerns
- participate in trainings, team meetings, and performance discussions
- complete additional back-of-house tasks assigned by kitchen leadership
