Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated two years of full service restaurant cooking experience
  • Experience with breakfast and egg cooking preferred
  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen environment
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Must have strong knife skills
  • Ability to follow written recipes and order tickets
  • Outstanding verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Must love food and enjoy working with it
  • Accuracy and speed in task execution
  • Working clean during the shift and at closing time
  • Ability to stand for eight or more hours a day
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds regularly
  • ServSafe food handling certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of full service restaurant cooking experience
  • Breakfast and egg cooking experience a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume team environment
  • Strong knife skills
  • Ability to follow written recipes and order tickets
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • ServSafe food handling certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare dishes that are picture perfect
  • Ensure the freshest products are used in meal preparation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked line throughout the shift
  • Follow health code requirements, food rotation, labeling, and sanitation practices
  • Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Adhere to written recipes and order tickets precisely
  • Work efficiently while maintaining speed and accuracy
