Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience prepping and cooking in a restaurant or banquet kitchen
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
  • Ability to work within a high-productivity team
  • Ability to follow directions

Job Duties

  • Working the a.m. or p.m. shifts
  • Setting up and stocking food items and supplies
  • Preparing food items using cutting, chopping, mixing and sauce preparation techniques
  • Cooking food items using grills, frying pans, sauteing and other cooking methods specified recipe standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation practices
  • Cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces
  • Performing inventory checks and completing food storage logs
  • Other duties as needed
