Job Requirements
- 1+ years of cooking experience in an upscale or fine-dining high volume establishment
- positive attitude, a sense of responsibility and ownership of the position
- detail oriented with strong communication skills
- team oriented with a strong sense of punctuality and reliability
- basic understanding of recipe preparation, cooking and knife handling skills
- understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- continuous reaching, bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- certified for food service as required by State and Local Agencies

Job Duties
- Prepare our dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results
- know and comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen practices
- cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment
- portion all products, follow recipes and always ensure the plate presentation is aesthetically pleasing
- set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- follow safety and sanitation standards, make sure workstations stay clean and organized and follow all food handling standards
- adhere to food service safety and sanitation guidelines as required by State and Local Agencies
