Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum one year experience in a related field required
  • previous food services experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • ability to work safely and cooperatively with others
  • willingness to work in the best interests of the facility
  • ability to report any changes in personal health status promptly

  • ability to perform assigned duties effectively

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist with meal and food preparation
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
  • monitor and record refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily
  • utilize approved cleaning agents safely and effectively
  • remove trash and refuse from designated areas
  • care for and operate kitchen equipment including meat slicer
  • inventory food service items and supplies as directed
  • conduct work activities in a safe and orderly manner
  • work cooperatively with other employees
  • report changes in personal health status to supervisor promptly
  • take responsibility for professional growth and development
  • perform other duties as assigned
