Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner
- Ability to communicate well with guests and coworkers

- Finger and hand dexterity to operate food machinery
- Ability to grasp, lift or carry goods weighing up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule

- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate various kitchen equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Job Duties
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards per check from servers
- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time without over preparing estimated needs
- Date all food containers and rotate as per Crescent standards, ensuring all perishables are kept at proper temperatures
- Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line setup, and note any out-of-stock items or shortages
- Return all unused food items on next shift to designated storage areas, covering and dating all perishables
- Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct food cost problems, control food waste, loss and usage per Crescent standards
- Operate, maintain and properly clean food preparation equipment such as deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
