Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Willingness to obtain Food Handlers Certification if not already certified
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties

- Knowledge of seafood menu and preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Food Handlers Certification or willingness to obtain
- Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred
- Attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Full knowledge of the food menu items and origin of live seafood
- Ensure the kitchen is properly set up and stocked
- Prepare dishes in accordance with Smashin Crab recipes for the following stations: Fry, Boil, Grill, Sauté and Expo
- Coordinate food preparation timing with other kitchen staff and stations
- Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet all health and safety standards
- Ensure all areas of the line are clean, stock inventory and supplies
- Perform running side work, opening duties, and closing duties as required
- Obtain and maintain Food Handlers Certification
