Job Requirements
- high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
- open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check
- possession of an active California Food Handlers Certificate or card
- capability to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
- ability to walk, stand, and bend at the neck for 3 or more hours a day
- repetitive use of hands including simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, and reaching for entire shifts
- tolerate exposure to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, temperature extremes, humidity or wetness
- ability to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications

- provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
- active California Food Handlers Certificate or card
Job Duties
- ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with appropriate recipes and presentation on a consistent basis
- provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
- monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
- recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains including proper storage
- effectively utilize leftovers and control waste
- be flexible and able to take direction
- work with others as a team player in a small confined space
