Job Requirements
- Minimum two years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience
- Positive energy and ability to assist fellow staff
- Basic proficiency in speaking, reading, and understanding cooking directions
- Effective communication with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepares, stocks, and maintains the highest quality cuisine for guests, complying with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saute burners, convection oven, flat top range, refrigeration equipment, and adheres to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- Assists others in closing the kitchen
- Promptly reports all product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues to Chef
