Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 3 or more hours a day
  • Must use hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, pulling and reaching throughout the shift
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness
  • Must perform all duties with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass drug test and criminal background check
  • Active California Food Handlers Certificate

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
  • Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
  • Recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains
  • Utilize leftovers effectively and control waste
  • Work flexibly and take direction
  • Collaborate as a team player in a small confined space
