Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a cook or chef
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow established recipes and procedures
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties
  • availability to work scheduled shifts
  • residency within the state of Texas

Job Duties

  • Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards
  • showcase flair for plating and presentation
  • maintain temperature charts and food safety records
  • adhere to sanitation protocols and quality control
  • notify the Chef of inventory needs
  • assist in organizing the kitchen, food storage, dish room, and other culinary areas
  • ensure first-in, first-out food rotation system
  • assist Chef Manager and Food and Beverage Director with kitchen efficiency and staff training
  • follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and meet regulatory requirements
