Job Requirements

  • Prior experience as a line cook or in a culinary role preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Capable of standing for long periods
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Take every opportunity to amaze the guests by preparing food items using quality predetermined methods in a timely and consistent manner
  • Provide high-quality, attractive meals to guests in the banquet rooms, restaurant, lounge, and room service
  • Set up stations with the predetermined mise en place required
  • Have thorough knowledge of menus, standard recipes, and preparation methods
  • Prepare all orders on a timely basis
  • Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all applicable operating procedures
  • Operate and clean equipment properly
  • Promptly report all maintenance issues
  • Properly receive and store food and deliveries
  • Consult with kitchen management and other related departments
