Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous prep or line cook experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Team lift required for anything over 25 pounds
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to take direction
- Good communication skills

- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures

Job Duties
- Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines
- Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
- Restocks all items as needed throughout shift
- Cleans and maintains station practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills
- Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station
- Assists with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or Kitchen Manager at any time
