- Basic experience in a kitchen setting, including knife skills and sanitation knowledge
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions from the chef
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and stations
- Understanding of the importance of food waste control
- Ability to read orders from the POS system
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Setting up equipment and ingredients prior to service
- Reading and preparing menu items quickly and accurately according to provided recipes
- Preparing food for team member meals
- Performing inventory checks on perishable items and notifying leadership of products nearing expiration
- Assisting with banquet preparation and production to meet client expectations
- Ensuring coolers and prep areas are cleaned, organized, and properly secured at the end of each shift
- Storing food correctly, following proper labeling and rotation procedures
- Maintaining food quality and sanitation standards before, during, and after service
- Supporting the team with additional tasks as assigned
