Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic experience in a kitchen setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Willingness to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Basic experience in a kitchen setting, including knife skills and sanitation knowledge
  • The ability to follow recipes and instructions from the Chef
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and stations
  • An understanding of the importance of food waste control
  • The ability to read orders from the POS system
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Setting up equipment and ingredients prior to service
  • Reading and preparing menu items quickly and accurately according to provided recipes
  • Preparing food for team member meals
  • Performing inventory checks on perishable items and notifying leadership of products nearing expiration
  • Assisting with banquet preparation and production to meet client expectations
  • Ensuring coolers and prep areas are cleaned, organized, and properly secured at the end of each shift
  • Storing food correctly, following proper labeling and rotation procedures
  • Maintaining food quality and sanitation standards before, during, and after service
  • Supporting the team with additional tasks as assigned
