Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years experience as a lead cook in a high-volume kitchen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety program certification or food handler certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Positive and professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience working as a lead cook in a high-volume kitchen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal culinary training preferred
- Food safety program certification or food handler certification
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents and team members
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals using high-quality ingredients
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards according to regulatory guidelines
- Lead kitchen operations during assigned shifts
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet Gold Standard requirements
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service
- Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
