Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years experience working as a lead cook in a high volume kitchen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety program certification or food handler certification
- Ability to lift and or carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Maintain positive and professional attitude
Job Qualifications

- Formal culinary training preferred
- Food safety program certification or food handler certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and quality standards
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking is completed in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient and timely meal service
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members to ensure a positive dining experience
