Job Requirements

  • Completion of background screening prior to employment
  • Availability to work full-time hours including rotating weekends
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday 11 AM to 8 PM and Sundays 6 AM to 3 PM
  • Proven cooking experience
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cooking, preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living settings
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail in food preparation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of food safety standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
  • Ensure food quality, timing, and presentation standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with inventory and supply management
  • Support customer satisfaction through efficient food preparation
