- Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus

Job Duties
- Prepare or direct preparation of all recipes in compliance with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures
- Prepare an extensive variety of cold and hot food items using standardized recipes
- Prepare specially requested food items
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours maintaining excellence in quality, temperature and appearance
- Utilize knives, hand tools, utensils and equipment to portion, cut, slice, broil, roast, carve, skewer, garnish, grill or maintain holding temperature of food
- Comply with sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Keep Head Kitchen Chef informed of inventories
- Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to manager
- Report unsanitary equipment, storage, work areas or products to Head Kitchen Chef
- Communicate with Lead Line Cook to efficiently facilitate customer orders
- Follow federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations
- Maintain a neat, organized and clean work area and clean equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
