Job Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have or attain a CA Food Handler Card
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb all day
- Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to work flexible full-time or part-time schedules including weekends and holidays
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes and kitchen safety protocols
- Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to obtain food handler certification
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Provide fast and friendly service
- Prepare food and follow recipes for prep and portioning guides efficiently
- Safely and properly operate kitchen equipment and tools
- Maintain sanitation requirements keep all work areas neat and orderly
- Work weekends and holidays
- Assist in managing kitchen inventory and supplies
- Support shift lead cooks in daily kitchen operations
