Job Requirements
- Must have Food Handler's certificate
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week, including overtime
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to lift and balance items up to 30 pounds
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, and reach frequently
- Must be able to comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Willingness to perform various duties in food preparation and plating
Job Qualifications
- Food Handler's certificate
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food preparation role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines
- Good physical stamina for standing and lifting
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare all menu items according to rules, policies, and standards set by the Chef and restaurant
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products and equipment at line stations to ensure smooth service
- Participate in food preparation and portioning prior to service or as assigned
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including proper rotation of products for freshness
- Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to a supervisor
- Assume full responsibility for quality of products served
- Perform other duties as assigned
