Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- current food handler's permit
- ability to work part-time hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- good communication skills
- ability to follow food safety standards
- experience working in a food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
Job Qualifications
- ability to learn and use proper knife skills
- must enjoy working with and handling various food products
- should have a passion for preparing, cooking, and eating good food
- current food handler's permit
- ability to read and follow a recipe
- basic math skills used to double or half a recipe
- ability to interpret policies and procedures
- excellent organization and planning skills
- must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills to communicate with customers and fellow associates effectively and efficiently
- must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of your team
- must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons mission and commitment to working collaboratively

Job Duties
- follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen provides
- ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchen
- confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- cooks and fries all hot foods for the kitchen
