Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of food safety

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods in accordance with Guapos recipes and standards
  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment
  • Measure and mix ingredients
  • Wash, peel, cut food items
  • Check the temperature of food
  • Expedite orders in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner while maintaining high quality standards
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Always adhere to hygiene and food safety guidelines
  • Assist restaurant staff with other duties as required
