Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working as a line cook
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Food Handler's Certification preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Must be able to follow safety procedures and kitchen protocols

  • Ability to follow recipes and portion controls accurately
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and proper food handling practices

Job Duties

  • Be responsible for producing food items on the dinner menus
  • Ensure that guests are always receiving an exceptional dining experience representing true value for money
  • Communicate effectively with the FOH staff when issues arise either from their end or yours and find the quickest solution to the problem
  • Ensure that all food items are prepared as per recipes while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste
  • Ensure that product is of sufficient quantity and quality
  • Maintain a clean uniform and always be presentable in guest view
  • Ensure that all food preparation equipment is being used safely and correctly and that it is cleaned and maintained
  • Ensure that a consistent, high quality product is achieved and maintained on all stations
  • Ensure that all areas of the kitchen are kept clean and sanitized
  • Communicate with delivery drivers about handling and quality of products as they arrive
