Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a professional kitchen
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • capacity to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • basic knife skills and kitchen safety knowledge
  • ability to lift and carry food supplies and equipment
  • strong work ethic and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous line cook or similar kitchen experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes exactly
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • culinary school training is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
  • set up station(s) with the predetermined mise en place required
  • have thorough knowledge of menus, standard recipes, and preparation methods
  • prepare all orders on a timely basis
  • practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure the total customer satisfaction
  • adhere to all applicable operating procedures
  • operate and clean equipment properly
  • promptly report all maintenance issues
  • properly receive and store food and other deliveries
  • consult with kitchen management and other related departments on a daily basis
