Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar culinary role desired
  • basic understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
  • ability to stand and maneuver for extended periods
  • capacity to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
  • willingness to follow safety protocols and company policies
  • ability to maintain professional relationships
  • commitment to quality and ethical behavior

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar culinary position desired
  • basic kitchen knowledge and skills
  • ability to execute knife cuts as instructed by chef
  • knowledge of therapeutic diets and preparation
  • ability to prepare assigned egg dishes and sandwiches
  • culinary training is a plus
  • effective communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to adapt to changing kitchen conditions
  • commitment to safety and food sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Prepare fine dining meals according to Wellmore and senior living community standards
  • follow all food handling, HACCP, labeling, and storage protocols
  • maintain documentation of temperature charts and records
  • collaborate effectively with front and back-of-house team members
  • participate in planning and production meetings
  • attend in-service training and education programs
  • perform other duties as assigned by Executive Chef or Director of Dining Services
