Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position desired
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to stand and maneuver safely around work area for long periods
- manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment and handle knives safely
- ability to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs
- free from communicable diseases that could affect job performance
- willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies
- availability for full-time or part-time shifts
- commitment to upholding company values and ethics
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position desired
- culinary training a plus
- knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food sanitation guidelines

Job Duties
- work in a collaborative manner with front and back of house team members ensuring compliance with senior living communities' and wellmore standards for quality presentation and portion control
- adhere to all proper handling, haccp, labeling, and storage protocols for all foods ensuring compliance with relevant food service regulations
- follow all safety protocols and consistently practice a culture of safety
- maintain documentation of temperature charts and records
- maintain open communication and professional working relationships with all community departments and home office support team
- actively participate in planning and production meetings with the team
- attend and actively participate in required in-service training and education programs
- perform other duties as assigned and directed by the executive chef or director of dining services
