Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year or more of cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • ability to follow detailed instructions
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • effective communication skills
  • willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • compliance with food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • 1 year or more of previous cooking experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen preferred
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

  • familiarity with food safety and sanitation best practices
  • flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items to recipe specifications and company standards
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
  • assist with food prep and ensure ingredients are fresh, stored properly, and ready for service
  • keep an eye on inventory and promptly report shortages or equipment issues
  • follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently
  • ensure every dish leaving the kitchen is consistent in taste, quality, and presentation
  • work collaboratively with chefs, line cooks, and servers to ensure smooth service
