Job Requirements
- Must have 1 or more years of experience as a line cook
- Culinary education and supervisory background desirable
- Ability to plan and organize work
- Must be ServSafe certified
- Prefer experience cooking from scratch and batch cooking
- Ability to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards
- Reliable and able to work every other weekend

Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always
- Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria as per local regulations and policy
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production
- Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary
- Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance and conduct evaluations to improve operations and procedures
- Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner to create a positive marketing environment
- Support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
