Job Requirements

  • minimum of two years experience in a culinary role or food preparation
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items

  • willingness to participate in ongoing culinary education

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • culinary school training or certification preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations
