Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in cooking preferably in healthcare skilled nursing or senior living settings
- Ability to work flexible hours including rotating weekends
- Must successfully complete background screening prior to employment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual

- Experience cooking in a healthcare skilled nursing or senior living setting preferred
- Proven cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards

- Flexibility to work rotating weekends
Job Duties
- Prepare food for service including chopping vegetables butchering meat and preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff
- Ensure food is prepared and served simultaneously and in high quality and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow all safety and health regulations
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
