Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years’ experience in a culinary or food preparation role
  • ability to work flexible hours and shifts
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years’ progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet meal service schedules
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation
  • follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
  • collaborate with kitchen team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
  • participate in ongoing culinary training and development programs
