Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as line cook or culinary training preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and preparation methods accurately
- Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a line cook or similar culinary role beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
- Provide high-quality, attractive meals to guests in banquet rooms, restaurant, lounge, and room service
- Set up station(s) with the predetermined mise en place required
- Have thorough knowledge of menus, standard recipes, and preparation methods
- Prepare all orders on a timely basis
- Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure total customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all applicable operating procedures
- Operate and clean equipment properly
- Promptly report all maintenance issues
- Properly receive and store food and other deliveries
- Consult with kitchen management and related departments daily
