Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as line cook or culinary training preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and preparation methods accurately
  • Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a line cook or similar culinary role beneficial
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
  • Provide high-quality, attractive meals to guests in banquet rooms, restaurant, lounge, and room service
  • Set up station(s) with the predetermined mise en place required
  • Have thorough knowledge of menus, standard recipes, and preparation methods
  • Prepare all orders on a timely basis
  • Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all applicable operating procedures
  • Operate and clean equipment properly
  • Promptly report all maintenance issues
  • Properly receive and store food and other deliveries
  • Consult with kitchen management and related departments daily
