Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 3 or more hours a day
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, and reaching for entire shift
  • Must be able to work in environments with exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and temperature extremes
  • Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
  • Active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to appropriate recipes and standards
  • Provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation, and cooking
  • Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
  • Recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and grains including proper storage
  • Utilize leftovers effectively and control waste
  • Take direction with flexibility
  • Work collaboratively as a team player in a confined kitchen space
