Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a line cook or similar role
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification a plus
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet the restaurant's specifications
  • Execute timely and accurate preparation of ingredients to meet service demands
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to streamline workflow and ensure efficient service
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of menu items
