Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- complete basic food handling training and obtain any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to provide excellent guest service with an energetic and friendly attitude
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a noisy environment
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- must have regular and consistent attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
- ability to follow recipes and portion controls
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus
- willingness to learn and pursue culinary career paths
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- food handler certification where required
Job Duties
- Prepare all required items in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls
- follow and execute prep lists daily
- maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in accordance with health and safety regulations
- maintain policies and procedures to minimize food waste and theft
- collaborate with server team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- clean food preparation area and equipment after each use excluding assembling/disassembling the pizza dough sheeter if under 18
- open or close a workstation depending on scheduled shift
