Job Requirements
- Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required first day
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work independently and in a team
- knowledge of safe food handling techniques
- ability to understand workflow and prioritize tasks
- availability to work variable shifts including nights and holidays
- ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- willingness to tolerate exposure to temperature extremes and cleaning chemicals
Job Qualifications

- preferred experience in providing exceptional customer service
- preferred knowledge of modified diet food preparation
- preferred familiarity with commercial cooking equipment
Job Duties
- Prepares and cooks food under general supervision
- serves customers and interacts with them in various venues including catering and patient care
- completes assembly of specialty meals and catered items
- follows recipes and instructions precisely
- maintains organized and sanitary working environment
- ensures proper food quantities and rotates products accordingly
- operates ware-washing machinery and assists with cashier and stocking duties
