Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • two or more years of cooking experience preferred
  • formal culinary training preferred
  • SERV SAFE certification preferred
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years of cooking preferred
  • formal culinary training preferred
  • ability to interpret and execute recipe while maintaining clean and safe work area
  • strong food prep skills
  • SERV SAFE certification preferred
  • previous experience working in commercial kitchen preferred
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions required
  • ability to build rapport and professionally communicate with team members and residents

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food
  • ensure food presentation is attractive
  • follow all guidelines and procedures when handling, preparing, serving and storing food
  • responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of work area
  • promote culture of safety
  • maintain food inventory and supplies
