Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior cooking experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • understanding of health and safety regulations
  • willingness to work under time pressure
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to follow recipes and preparation instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Sets up work area, equipment and utensils
  • reads tickets processed through the POS system
  • prepares items ordered through the POS system according to recipe book
  • maintains safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • rotates products according to FIFO principle
  • covers, labels, dates and stores prepared products
  • maintains high standards of personal hygiene in compliance with local health ordinances
  • cleans work area, stores utensils, disassembles and cleans equipment
  • operates dish machine occasionally
  • prepares salads and raw products for the cook's line
  • follows all health, safety, sanitation and security standards
  • performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
