Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of kitchen preparation and line cook experience
  • Positive energy and readiness to assist fellow staff
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand basic cooking directions
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepares, stocks, and maintains high-quality cuisine
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and adheres to health regulations
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows closing checklists
  • Assists others in closing the kitchen
  • Reports product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues promptly
  • Follows standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
  • Works collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
