Job Requirements
- Have a current Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain
- love for food and attention to detail with cooking including knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes
- comfortable standing for extended periods, able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and twisting
- minimum age of 18 years
Job Qualifications
- No previous cooking experience required
- ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes
- excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- knowledge of all chemicals used in the building
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment
- flexibility to work a variety of shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
- plates prepared foods based on chef's guidance
- responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- assist with washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils
- uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
