Job Requirements

  • culinary degree or cooking certification preferred
  • minimum of 3 years experience in high volume institutional catering
  • knowledge of HACCP regulations
  • ability to prepare recipes accurately
  • strong organizational skills
  • good communication skills
  • ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • basic English reading, writing and speaking skills

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree or cooking certification preferred

  • demonstrated experience in sauce preparation
  • demonstrated experience in stock preparation
  • demonstrated experience in garnish and menu breakout
  • ability to prepare entrées for all airlines
  • ability to review production sheets
  • ability to prepare complex recipes
  • understanding of various cooking techniques
  • ability to understand and complete recipes
  • experience overseeing portion size
  • experience evaluating and improving productivity
  • experience controlling expenses
  • understanding of HACCP compliance
  • knowledge of safe food handling practices
