Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as a line cook
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including full-time or part-time shifts
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience and compassion for senior residents
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary training or experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a line cook
- Strong understanding of food safety practices (ServSafe food handlers certification a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Compassion, patience, and respect when working with seniors
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and the Chefs guidelines
- Collaborate with the Chef and culinary team to provide variety and creativity in meal offerings
- Follow all food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Keep the kitchen sparkling clean and safe
- Work as part of a supportive kitchen team to ensure each plate looks and tastes its best
- Maintain a clean and organized station ready for lunch and dinner service
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs
