Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food handler certification is a plus
  • Must be able to follow kitchen safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items

Job Duties

  • Cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products
  • Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
  • Perform final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items
  • Prepare appropriate garnishes for hot menu item plates
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
