Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work early morning to late evening shifts
- Open availability (4 a.m.-11 p.m.)
- Must be able to follow recipes and kitchen protocols
- Must be able to handle physical demands of the role
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late evenings
Job Duties
- Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
- Requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
- Responsible for set-up, maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of machinery and equipment
- Maintain stock, cutting, and storage of perishables daily to ensure product quality
- Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
- Take responsibility for the quality of products served
- Perform cleaning tasks using standard products as assigned by supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
