Job Duties
- follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen provides
- ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets company standards for appearance
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchen
- confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products
- deliver excellent customer service to all customers
- cook and fry all hot foods for the kitchen
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes using various kitchen utensils and equipment
- prepare all pizza items following recipes including assembling pizzas for the take-and-bake section and baking pizzas for the hot case
- use manual and automated kitchen equipment to cook, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, slice, or shred meats, fruits, vegetables, and other products
- assemble and package to-go soups, salads, dips, and sandwiches
- prepare sauces for use in recipe items
- document food safety temperatures using the food safety log system
- assist in cleaning and maintaining the dish room cleanliness
- help check food loads in and ensure proper storing of these items
- assist as needed to ensure the success of the kitchen as a whole
