Job Requirements

  • Food safety certified
  • Minimum two years experience in a high-volume food and beverage operation with similar cooking techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Physical ability to work in varying temperatures including extreme heat and cold
  • Capability to lift and move up to 60 pounds frequently
  • Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell
  • Good manual dexterity and repetitive use of hands and arms
  • Close and distance vision with ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Adaptability to work day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work indoors under changing conditions
  • Willingness to comply with all hygiene and safety standards
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.

Job Qualifications

  • Food safety certification
  • Minimum two years experience in a high-volume food and beverage operation using similar cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of all basic skills for butchering, sauces, soups, and cooking of meat, fish and vegetables
  • Advanced knife skills
  • Knowledge of company policies
  • Ability to anticipate problems and apply deductive reasoning

Job Duties

  • Follow standard recipes carefully while preparing assigned food items for service
  • Collect food and beverage products and small wares required for food preparation
  • Assist in plating food items for service
  • Handle leftover food items as necessary or directed
  • Operate food production equipment according to manufacturers' instructions
  • Use safe and sanitary food handling practices including HAACP guidelines consistently
  • Clean banquet preparation and serving equipment, work stations, and kitchen as needed
  • Return soiled food preparation utensils and small wares to the proper areas
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation to maintain food safety compliance
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs of the kitchen to ensure cleanliness, organization, safety, and maintenance
  • Promote the company’s safety goals and ensure a safe working environment
  • Interact and communicate effectively and professionally with management, associates, and vendors
  • Promote harmonious relations among staff, vendors, and the community
  • Communicate timely and follow up appropriately
  • Actively participate in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings
  • Represent the club professionally in appearance, communication, and responsiveness
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Uphold the TBCC mission and club brand in all kitchen operations
  • Support corporate objectives and positive change initiatives
