Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum 1 year cooking experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Must adhere to food safety standards
- Ability to follow detailed production sheets
- Flexibility to work as needed on PRN basis
- Must wear required food service attire and protective gear
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience
- Preferred 2-4 years of cooking experience
- Experience in food preparation and handling
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
- Ability to work flexible rotating shifts including weekends
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare meals for patients according to daily menu and production sheets
- Plan daily menus considering special dietary restrictions
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals for admitted patients
- Assist in dish room and follow proper ware washing procedures
- Adhere to food service handlers' regulations including wearing clean uniforms, gloves, and hair protection
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, and desserts as part of meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
